Philadelphia March for Humanity by Bob Bruhin

Via Flickr:

We will not stand by quietly after the executive order that bans refugees and immigrants from seven Muslim countries (Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen). We oppose the ban and any other action that harms our communities or treats people with indignity. We will march on Saturday, February 4th from 1-4pm and we invite people to create sanctuary for each other in the midst of this crisis.

#SanctuaryEverywhere is the simple idea that everyday people can come together to keep each other safe. Whether we are welcoming refugees, protecting religious groups who have been attacked, working to ensure that Black Lives Matter, advocating for immigrants or protecting the rights of LGBTQI people, we will stay unified.

We cannot repeat past injustices. We cannot be divided and conquered. We will not fall for scapegoating. We will resist any policies that are racist, Islamophobic, or authoritarian.

Join with us and we will ensure each other’s safety.
