Australia can still win exemption on metal tariffs, Trump hints

Donald Trump has given his strongest hint yet that Australia will be exempt from US tariffs on steel and aluminium imports. The US will now impose a 25% tariff on foreign steel and a 10% tariff on foreign aluminium imports, the president announced at a media conference at the White House on Thursday.
